Pay: $18/hour

Our client in Washington, IA is looking for multiple Packagers!!

General Duties:

Package pharmaceutical products according to established guidelines, including labeling, sealing, and preparing for shipment.
Ensure all packaging complies with regulatory standards, including FDA and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Inspect and verify products for accuracy, damage, and expiration dates before packaging.
Maintain accurate records of packaging activities, including batch numbers, product counts, and production times.
Work with warehouse and distribution teams to ensure timely and accurate shipment of packaged goods.
Perform regular equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure smooth packaging operations.
Adhere to strict safety and hygiene protocols in the packaging area.
Assist in inventory management and stock rotation to ensure products are packaged in accordance with first-expiry, first-out (FEFO) guidelines.
Follow all company policies and regulatory requirements related to pharmaceuticals.
Collaborate with supervisors and other team members to meet production targets.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in pharmaceutical packaging, warehouse, or manufacturing environment preferred.
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory compliance in the pharmaceutical industry.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods.
Proficient in basic computer use (e.g., for record-keeping or inventory management).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must have a valid driver's license
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check
