Job Full Description
Our client in Cedar Rapids, IA is looking for a Laundry Production Associate!
Key Responsibilities:
- Feed linen items into production machines and folding equipment
- Hand fold textiles with precision and care
- Stage linens by placing them in carts, recording counts, and packaging
- Sort linens by type and item
- Count incoming and outgoing linens, and steam or hang clothing and jackets through the steam tunnel
- Transport textiles to the dock area and deliver clean, dry linens to the appropriate production locations
- Provide high-quality garment care, including detailed pressing, order assembly, and packaging
- Steam press and iron clothing as needed
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-starter with high motivation and a proactive attitude
- Ability to handle repetitive tasks efficiently
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills
- Dependable with excellent attendance
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- MUST have a valid drivers license
Hours:
- 7:30am – 3:00pm
- Monday – Friday
