Job Full Description
Our Client in Cedar Rapids, IA is Looking for a Warehouse Worker/Driver!
Position Overview: Assist with daily branch operations, including making deliveries, pulling orders, and organizing stock. Help at the counter as needed and ensure the environment remains clean and safe at all times. Occasional forklift operation (training provided).
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering to and picking up from customers, other branches/warehouses, and vendors/suppliers
- Pulling customer orders
- Loading and unloading shipments/deliveries using appropriate equipment
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance in compliance with DOT guidelines
- Receiving shipments from UPS, FedEx, and other carriers
- Unloading and organizing stock using proper equipment
- Answering phone calls promptly and courteously, addressing customers by name when possible
Qualifications:
- Must meet the following physical requirements:
- Comply with all DOT medical and drug-free standards
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Lifting boxes up to 4-5 hours daily
- Ability to climb ladders
- MUST have a valid drivers license
- Sit Down or Stand Up Forklift experience is preferred, but not mandatory
Hours:
- 7:00am – 3:30pm
- 30 Minute Lunch Break
- Monday – Friday
