As a Machine Operator you will be setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery to produce goods, ensuring quality and safety, and following standard operating procedures.
Duties
- Set up machines according to specifications and production requirements.
- Operate machinery safely and efficiently, following established procedures.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Load and unload materials, parts, and products as required.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on assigned machine.
- Inspect products for quality and remove defective items.
- Ensure that products meet specified quality standards and tolerances.
- Identify and report any issues or defects to supervisors or relevant personnel.
- Clean and maintain the work area and equipment.
- Participate in training and development activities as required.
- Follow instructions and work collaboratively with other team members.
Skills
- Experience operating and maintaining various types of machinery.
- Knowledge of machine operation procedures and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documentation.
- Familiarity with quality control methods and techniques.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
