Job Full Description
1st Shift Automation Tender
Hours: 1st shift 5:00 am – 1:20 pm with mandatory overtime to 3:20 pm and Saturdays as needed.
Wage: $23.44/hour plus excellent benefits
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilize a variety of mechanical and non-mechanical hand tools.
- Set dies in all automatic presses.
- Load material into cradle and spindle.
- Adjust feeders and straighteners for each job.
- Configure electrical sensors and feeder stops.
- Use various measuring and inspection tools, including micrometers, rulers, verniers, and gauges.
- Operate a forklift safely.
- Produce sample parts for Quality Team inspections.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Proficiency with mechanical and non-mechanical hand tools.
- Experience setting dies in automatic presses highly encouraged.
- Competence in adjusting feeders, straighteners, and electrical sensors.
- Familiarity with measuring tools (micrometers, rulers, etc.).
- Forklift operation experience is a plus.
