Express Employment has partnered with a local company to search for a HR Assistant/Recruiter to join their team. The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring top talent, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing Candidates: Use job boards, social media, networking, and referrals. Attend job fairs.
- Screening and Assessment: Review resumes, conduct phone screenings, and process background checks.
- Interviewing: Coordinate and conduct interviews, prepare questions, and ensure a positive experience.
- Candidate Management: Build relationships, provide updates, and feedback.
- Collaboration: Work with hiring managers to understand needs and develop recruitment strategies.
- Data Management: Maintain records, generate reports, handle onboarding, and ensure compliance with I-9 forms.
- Scheduling: Develop and maintain associate schedules, coordinate with managers, and ensure policy compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a recruiter or similar role.
- Knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and employment laws.
Skills:
- High integrity and business ethics.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online meeting platforms.
- Experience with HRIS preferred.
