Tire & Retread Technician
Location: Dubuque, IA
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay: $17-$19/hour BOE
Join a local company's team as a Tire & Retread Technician. This full-time position involves both tire tech work and retreading!
Responsibilities:
- Mounting, balancing, and repair of semi-truck tires
- Alignments on large trucks and trailers
- Working in a warmer environment, handling heavy retread work
- Reading labels and identifying tire patterns
- Ensuring safety measures, including steel-toed boots and safety glasses
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Requirements:
- Previous experience with tires and/or retreading preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a physically demanding role
- Steel-toed boots and safety glasses are required
- Ability to lift heavy materials and follow safety protocols
