Paint & Prep Technician
Location: Dyersville, IA
Pay: $20/hour
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Overtime on Fridays as needed)
Job Type: Full-Time, No Experience Required
We are looking for Paint & Prep Technicians to join a company's team in Dyersville! This position plays a key role in preparing parts for painting by ensuring they are properly cleaned and ready for finishing. No prior experience is needed, just a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
- Clean parts thoroughly by removing oil, grease, welding impurities, slag, etc.
- Ensure all parts are prepped according to specific requirements for optimal paint adhesion
- Safely operate equipment such as forklifts to move completed items from the carousel line or paint booth to designated storage areas
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures
Requirements:
- Willingness to learn and follow detailed instructions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be open to using a forklift
- Strong attention to detail
