Electrical Maintenance Technicians - 2nd and 3rd Shift January 2, 2025

Located in Dubuque, IA

Pay: $30+ hourly

Express Employment Professionals is seeking 2^nd and 3^rd Shift Electrical Maintenance Technicians!

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install electrical/electronic systems.
Work with Allen Bradley PLCs (PLC 5, SLC 500) for system analysis and troubleshooting.
Maintain compliance with electrical codes, OSHA, and safety standards.
Plan and implement solutions for production and equipment issues.
Install and maintain electrical wiring and systems in the facility.
Perform quality checks to meet customer requirements.
Document and communicate issues effectively within the team.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

2+ years in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with PLCs, AC/DC motors, variable frequency drives, and electrical systems up to 440V.
Knowledge of proximity and photo sensors.
Associate or Bachelor’s degree, vocational certification, or journeyman’s license. (Preferred)
Knowledge of Six Sigma, SPC, and Lean Manufacturing.
Strong problem-solving, technical, and mechanical skills.
Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
Proficiency with hand tools, multi-meters, and Microsoft Office.
Effective communication, leadership, and time-management skills.

Salary: $30+ hourly
