Building Maintenance Specialist - Dubuque, IA
Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a client in Dubuque, IA.
Responsibilities:
- Perform grounds work, including mowing, trimming, and weed control
- Perform property checks at multiple residential and commercial buildings
- Assist in custodial work, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning windows, etc. in common areas and building exteriors
- Assist with snow removal on an as-needed basis
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists
- Periodically inspect all units, buildings, and common areas, performing repairs and janitorial assistance as needed
- Operate a tablet/computer and input necessary information into maintenance software
- Ensure storage areas and entrances are organized, locked, and adequately lit
- Assist in stock control and utilization of maintenance materials
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or GED
- 1+ year of maintenance/repair experience
- Hand and power tool experience
- Valid Driver's License
Schedule:
- 1st shift Monday-Friday
- On-call rotation
Pay: $22-$26/hour
