Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced and safety-conscious CNC Machine Operator to join a manufacturing team in Lewis, KS. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be responsible for producing hydraulic components in accordance with specifications to achieve consistent customer satisfaction. If you have a strong mechanical background, technical skills, and 3+ years of CNC Machine Operator experience, we invite you to apply.
Responsibilities of the CNC Machine Operator:
- Set up machine (calibration, cleaning, etc.) per documented work instructions or other requirements to start a production cycle.
- Control and adjust machine settings as required.
- Feed raw material or parts to semi-automate machines.
- Inspect parts with precision tools, test the operation of machines periodically and maintain a machine activity log.
- Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
- Check output to spot any machine related mistake or flaws.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines as needed.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the machines.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
Requirements of the CNC Machine Operator:
- High School Diploma and/or GED.
- Strong mechanical and technical skills.
- 3+ years of experience as a CNC Machine Operator.
- Experience as a manual machine operator is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Attention to detail and precision in work.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols.
- Ability to lift 50lbs
