Position: Forklift Operator
Location: Olathe, KS
Pay: $20.50 per hour paid weekly
Scheduled:
- 1st shift Tues- Fri 5am-3:30pm
- 3rd shift Mon- Fri 11pm- 8am
Overview
A local warehouse is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join their dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts, including cherry pickers and reach trucks to facilitate the efficient movement of materials within our facility. This role is crucial in ensuring that our shipping and receiving processes run smoothly and that products are handled safely and effectively.
Duties
- Operate forklifts, including cherry pickers and reach trucks to load and unload materials from storage areas.
- Safely transport materials throughout the warehouse while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Import inventory into computer
- Assist in the organization of inventory and ensure proper storage of products.
- Perform routine inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and report any mechanical issues.
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders accurately and efficiently using order pickers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with warehouse standards.
- Participate in shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accurate documentation of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting is preferred.
- Experience withe sit-down forklift, cherry picker and reach trucks
- Strong computer skills required
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
