Forklift Operator (with General Labor Duties)

$18.00/hour
Schedule:
Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Position Overview:
We’re hiring a Sit-Down Forklift Operator for a well-established machine shop located in Olathe, KS. This is a hands-on role that combines forklift operation with general labor duties. You’ll spend approximately 20–50% of your day operating the forklift, with the rest of your time spent assisting around the shop — whether it’s moving materials by hand, unloading trucks, painting, or supporting the team wherever needed.
This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, brings a positive attitude, and doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty to help the team succeed.
Responsibilities:

Safely operate a sit-down forklift to transport materials throughout the facility

Assist with general labor tasks including painting, material handling, and shop upkeep

Unload incoming trucks and organize materials

Support production and maintenance teams as needed

Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications:

Experience operating a sit-down forklift (required)

Willingness to perform general labor tasks off the forklift

Dependable, with a strong attendance record

Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Able to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift
