Express Employment Professionals in McPherson Kansas is seeking a HR Manager.

This is a Direct Hire opening.

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and managing all human resource initiatives, such as recruitment, compensation, benefits, training, and employee relations. Oversee staff operations, business planning, and budget development of HR programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIE
S:
• Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention; Identify HR priorities and opportunities for improvement.
• Develops strategy and drive implementation of HR activities that create employee engagement and improve the company's profitability and success.
• Aligns HR activities with business goals.
• Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
• Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization's human resource compliance and strategy needs while providing guidance, mentorship, and support to the team ensuring high performance and professional development.
• Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development
• Acts as a trusted advisor for employees and managers, resolving conflicts and addressing concerns in a fair and timely manner while cultivating a positive work environment that prioritizes open communication and mutual respect.
• Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.

Experience and Education Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly preferred.
• At least (3) years of human resource management experience required, plus a minimum of (2) years’ experience managing direct reports.
• Experience leading human resources functions in an industrial environment.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems (i.e., Paycom, ADP, Workday).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No nights
• No weekends
