Express Employment Professionals of Salina, KS is hiring for a Mechanical Assembler!
The Schedule for this position Monday-Friday 630am-430pm
The ideal candidate will be able to preform the following duties:
- Ability to maintain good attendance
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Prior Skill in the fabrication, joining and repair of a variety of metal objects, equipment, fixtures
- Ability to use department equipment such as forklift, ladder/scaffold, overhead crane, and power tools
- Perform technical assembly work on both basic and intermediate sub and final assemblies according to drawings, written procedures
- Work with other team members to assemble products.
- Repair and adjust products to match changes to specifications and resolve assembly problems.
- Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
- Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to ensure that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements.
- Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.
