As a Panel Builder/Controls Technician, you will be responsible for constructing control panels using Rockwell components, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards. Your expertise in working with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and panel wiring is essential for the success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Panel Fabrication: Build control panels using Rockwell components, adhering to design specifications and industry standards.
- Component Installation: Install and wire VFDs, HMIs, PLCs, and other control devices within the panels.
- Wiring and Connections: Perform precise wiring, connections, and cable routing, ensuring proper labeling and organization.
- Testing and Quality Control: Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance checks to verify the functionality and safety of control panels.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of panel designs, wiring diagrams, and any modifications made during the assembly process.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to panel wiring and connections promptly.
- HMI Configuration: Configure and program Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) to ensure seamless communication with control systems.
- Safety Compliance: Implement safety procedures and guidelines while working on control panels.
- Component Inventory: Manage an inventory of electrical components and ensure that stock levels are maintained.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with engineers and project managers to meet project deadlines and requirements.
