We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Garage Door Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installation and repair of garage doors, ensuring safety and functionality for our clients. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Duties
- Install and repair various types of garage doors and openers, ensuring proper functionality.
- Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively during installations.
- Perform heavy lifting as required for the installation of garage door components.
- Conduct remodeling tasks related to garage door installations, including drywall work and metal stud framing.
- Apply caulking as needed to ensure weather-tight seals around installations.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist with glass installation when required, ensuring secure fitting and aesthetics.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in remodeling, electrical work, or carpentry is preferred.
- Proficiency in using power tools and performing heavy lifting tasks.
- Familiarity with drywall installation and metal stud framing techniques is a plus.
- Strong skills in frame carpentry and caulking application.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license may be required for travel to job sites.
- Must be physically fit to handle the demands of the job.
