consult with clients, vendors, team members, and coworkers to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
confer with contractors, owners, architects, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
prepare estimates for purposes of planning, organizing, and scheduling work.
analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors.
enter data to develop and establish cost data or to effect cost reduction.
being neat and organized will help maintain accuracy and quality.
must possess a strong memory retention and attention to detail.
follow through with commitments.
communication is key in this role, both with internal and external customers.
