Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Associates to join a dynamic production warehouse team in Mayfield, KY. As part of the Freight crew, you will play a crucial role in the efficient flow of materials throughout the warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate inventory control and assisting with various tasks related to material management in a fast-paced environment. Day Shift Hours: 8am-4:00pm Starting at $15 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
- Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring materials are readily available for production.
- Move raw materials, finished goods, and equipment throughout the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Inspect materials for quality, reporting any damage or discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of materials for shipping and distribution.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including proper lifting techniques and safe operation of material handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory levels.
- Work closely with production teams to ensure that materials are delivered on time.
- Participate in regular cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing environment is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 80 lbs as needed.
- Must be able to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures and warehouse operations.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work flexible hours or overtime as needed.
