Job Full Description

Position Overview – This position is responsible for processing requests from Sales Representatives to secure and assign necessary implants and instruments required for surgical case coverage.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

 

  • Assign instruments and implants for surgeries with a key focus on ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Pick and prepare instruments and implants for surgeries with a key focus on ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Display proficiency for implant and instrumentation needed for each surgery and be able to validate for completeness
  • Have a thorough working knowledge of SMS and be able to assist team as needed to resolve issues
  • Assist other coordinators with instrument and implant assignments for scheduled surgery cases
  • Assist in management of Stock on Loan timeliness and outstanding SOL to exceed ZB policy
  • Prioritize urgent needs from Sales Representatives
  • Communicate with Operations Warehouse Leader and team members concerning implant and instrument delivery needs
  • Use best efforts to ensure that the warehouse is clean and organized
  • Other duties as assigned

 

 

Education, Experience and Skill Requirements

  • Associate Degree Preferred or relevant industry/work experience
  • Experience tracking inventory in a high activity environment
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to think quickly, and lead discussions where necessary

Working Conditions 

The duties of this position are typically performed in a field and office setting with normal ranges of temperature and a moderate to high level of office background noise. Communication typically occurs through face-to-face interaction as well as via e-mail, telephone and written correspondence.  This job also requires the ability to use other office equipment such as copier, fax machine, etc. In order to perform this job you must possess the following physical abilities:

-frequently sitting at a desk

-Use hand/finger dexterity and hand/eye coordination to operate computer, telephone and other office equipment;

-frequently communicate verbally with office and sales representatives;

-frequently use organizational, analytical and problem solving skills to manage work projects with varying degrees of priority

-constantly work in a team environment, effectively and efficiently achieving goals, improving processes and resolving problems; and

Frequently lift more than 50 lbs., ability to reach overhead, frequently bend, stoop, twist, push and pull, etc.
