Job Full Description
We are looking for a skilled and reliable HVAC and Facility Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing HVAC systems and performing general facility maintenance tasks across multiple properties. This role requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring the safety and comfort of our tenants.
Pay: $18-$22 - varies with experience
Key Responsibilities:
HVAC Maintenance:
- Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, heating systems, ventilation units, and refrigeration equipment.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure efficient operation of HVAC systems.
- Diagnose HVAC problems and determine appropriate repair solutions.
- Install new HVAC systems and components as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of all HVAC maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to HVAC systems.
Facility Maintenance:
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings and facilities to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
- Address and resolve maintenance issues promptly to ensure the safety and comfort of tenants.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and services.
- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Assist in the planning and execution of property improvement projects.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in HVAC (EPA Certification preferred).
- Proven experience in HVAC maintenance and repair.
- Strong technical skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with tenants and team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical capability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
