CDL-A Delivery Driver – Baton Rouge, LA
Monday-Friday 7am-5pm 40hr work week
$17/hr
Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing and recruiting firm, is currently hiring for CDL-A Delivery Driver for a Wholesale Flooring Distributor in East Baton Rouge Parish. They are one of the largest family-owned wholesale flooring retailors and distributors servicing the Gulf Coast region for the last 60 years. There are opportunities for overtime and the deliveries are only day trips, mostly local, will be home every night. Must have recent experience driving a MANUAL 10-13 Speed Truck
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES for CDL-A Delivery Driver:
- Responsible for loading and unloading own truck by hand and forklift
- Keeping track of delivery logs
- Deliver "on time" shipments
- Provide excellent customer service
- Will be driving a 13 speed manual transmission freight liner with 48ft tractor trailer
- Assist with warehouse work as needed
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED for CDL-A Delivery Driver:
- Must have valid CDL-A license and 3 years verifiable driving experience
- Experience driving a manual transmission 48ft tractor trailer
- Forklift driving
