Warehouse Manager – Baton Rouge
FULL-TIME/LONG-TERM/EVALUATION HIRE
$15-20 / HR
Monday – Friday
Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently seeking a Warehouse Manager in the Baton Rouge area. This candidate must have a positive, friendly attitude as they will be supervising 3 employees. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels, implementing efficient processes, and fostering a safe and productive work environment.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES for Warehouse Manager:
- Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure accuracy and prevent stockouts or overstock situations
- Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Implement best practices in warehouse management to streamline workflows
- Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and condition of incoming and outgoing goods
- Address and resolve quality issues promptly
- Maintain effective communication with other departments, suppliers, and customers to address any issues or changes in warehouse operations
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices
- Must have a great attitude
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Must be customer service oriented
