FULL-TIME/LONG-TERM/EVALUATION HIRE
Monday – Friday 7 am – 3 pm

Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is seeking a reliable and hard-working Certified Aluminum Welder/Fabricator for a local client in Plaquemine, Louisiana. The ideal candidate will have expertise in welding aluminum materials, interpreting blueprints, and using various welding techniques to produce high-quality welds. As an Aluminum Welder, you will fabricate and assemble metal structures and components, ensuring that they meet industry standards and project specifications.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform Structural Aluminum welding and fitting using MIG welding to fabricate and assemble structures according to engineering drawings and project specifications.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Prepare aluminum materials for welding by measuring, cleaning, grinding, and cutting as necessary, ensuring proper fit and alignment.
- Conduct visual inspections of welded components to ensure they meet quality standards and project specifications. Identify and rectify any defects or issues in the welding process.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures to prevent accidents.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Experience as a Structural Aluminum Fitter/Welder, with a strong portfolio of successful aluminum welding projects.
- Proficient in MIG welding aluminum materials. Familiarity with other TIG processes is a plus but not required.
- A verifiable work history is required.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in welding to meet high-quality standards.
- Certification in MIG is a plus.
