Automotive Title Clerk - Baton Rouge
Full Time Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm
$17/hr
Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing and recruiting firm, is hiring for a Title Clerk for a local car dealership in East Baton Rouge Parish. As a Title Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of vehicle titles, registrations, and related paperwork, while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations. You will work closely with the sales, finance, and service departments to ensure smooth operations.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES for Title Clerk :
• Prepares stock cards for new and used vehicles
• Posts vehicle sales and purchases
• Handle all aspects of vehicle title processing, including preparing, verifying, and filing titles for new and used vehicles
• Processes and register all vehicle warranties and extended service contracts, maintaining a log of all contracts processed and mailed
• Assist sales managers when needed
• Copy, file, and update paper and electronic documents
• Accurately enter and maintain information in the dealership's CRM system
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to titles and registrations
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Must have experience in aTitle Clerk role
- Data entry, typing and computer skills required
- Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in a car dealership or similar automotive environment preferred
