Warehouse Supervisor 2nd Shift - Baton Rouge, LA
FULL-TIME/LONG-TERM/EVALUATION HIRE
$43,000-$46,000/ HR
2PM-10PM Monday - Friday
Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing and recruiting firm, is currently hiring for a Warehouse Supervisor for a local client in Baton Rouge.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES for Warehouse Supervisor:
- Oversee employees in the warehouse, manage 6 employees
- Lead by example, train new and existing staff on processes and procedures
- Assist in material handling by hand and forklift
- Paperwork flow management and other office duties as needed
- Oversee and ensure that safe operating conditions are in place for all employees
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Min 1 yr management experience
- Valid Drivers License
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Excellent leadership and training skills
- Dependable and Safety Minded
- Must be Sociable and people oriented
- Organization skills
- Forklift experience required, certification a plus
- Overhead crane experience is a PLUS
- Working knowledge using measuring tapes
