Warehouse Worker / Delivery Driver – Baton Rouge
$15/HR
Monday- Friday, 6:45 am - 4 pm.
Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is hiring a Warehouse Worker /Delivery Driver for a local supply store in Baton Rouge.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES for Warehouse Worker / Delivery Driver:
- Delivery of goods
- Unloading by hand and using equipment (hand trucks, dollies)
- Handling heavy boxes (48 lbs)
- Able to lift, stack, and unload efficiently
- While not on the road, they will be in the warehouse; loading takes place at the shop
- Occasional office cleaning
Skills and Experience:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Verifiable experience in a previous driving role is REQUIRED.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Must have a valid driver's license. CDL or Chauffers license is NOT REQUIRED.
- Must be able to work outdoors for extended periods
- Must be able to consistently lift heavy materials and be on feet for extended periods
- Must have steel-toed boots before starting
- Customer Service oriented
- Strong ability to take initiative
- Must be on time every day
