Inside Sales Representative
Full Time – Evaluation Hire
$24-28/hr
Monday – Friday, 8:00 am - 5 pm
Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently hiring an Inside Sales Representative for a local specialty truck equipment company in East Baton Rouge Parish.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES for Inside Sales Representative:

Provide support to the outside sales team by supplying quotes and information related to body and equipment requirements, chassis availability, order updates, and other related inquiries as needed.

Handle phone calls and emails concerning body/equipment requests and chassis pool availability.

Ensure prompt and professional responses to customer inquiries.

Prepare detailed quotes for body and equipment installations.

Assist walk-in and call-in customers by recommending appropriate solutions and providing quotes tailored to their body and equipment needs.

Create and process accurate work orders for the shop in a timely and efficient manner.

Coordinate with the parts department to ensure all necessary parts are available for upcoming jobs.

Maintain clear and consistent communication with the Production Manager and shop staff regarding customer needs and key job details.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High school diploma.
- At least 3 years’ experience in inside sales.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel.
- High level of responsiveness to inquiries and requests.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a positive attitude.
- Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and carry out tasks to completion.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Normal standing, walking, and bending as necessary in the office, shop, and on the equipment yard during all seasons.
