Quality Control Lab Technician - Reserve - C138
Pay: 13.00
Hours: Monday – Thursday 10:00am – 8:00pm (FT)
Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently hiring for a Quality Control Lab Technician.
As the Quality Control Lab Technician, your responsibilities will encompass being responsible for conducting tests and inspections to ensure the high quality and functionality of our clients products.
Responsibilities:
- Perform quality control testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
-Recommend in process batch adjustments to ensure conformance to standard as needed.
-Perform packaging line audits to ensure conformance to finished product standards for packaging components, labeling, date coding, and product integrity.
-Monitor and ensure compliance with 21 CFR 110 cGMP’s (current Good Manufacturing Practices)
-Collect and evaluate finished product samples to insure product standard.
-Verify time/temperature monitoring data to assure compliance to HACCP Food Safety Plan.
-Verify effective sanitization of equipment as need (swab and visual inspection)
-Liaison with Operations Team to assist in support of Total Quality Management
-Conduct audits of processes, systems, operations, regulatory compliance and safety to ensure conformance to all established standards.
-Conduct routine and non-routine analyses using various laboratory techniques and equipment.
-Identify any defects, malfunctions, or deviations from specifications.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues.
-Maintain accurate documentation of all testing activities and results.
-Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
-Conduct root cause analyses to identify the source of quality problems.
-Recommend and implement corrective actions to prevent future quality issues.
-Support continuous improvement efforts and contribute to process optimization.
-Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
-Cross train with QC Receiving technician.
-Other duties as assigned.
