She wanted to bring her passion and professional talents together at last.

In 2014, Amy opened the Express Employment Professionals of Gonzales office and has proudly served the River Region area ever since. In the 10 years the office has been open, her office has put Under her leadership, Express Gonzales has received numerous awards, including the Express International Circle of Excellence award every year since 2019, recognizing high-achieving Express offices throughout North America. Amy considers the office’s Chamber Small Business of the Year awards in 2018, 2023, and 2024 among its greatest honors.

In addition to opening the Gonzales office, she has continuously been active in multiple community organization boards and committees throughout the River Region of Southeast Louisiana. Notably, she is serving in her sixth year on the Ascension Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, having served on the Executive Council as Secretary, Incoming Chair, Chair, and Past Chair, as well as leadership positions on multiple Chamber committees. She has also served as an officer for eight years in the Business Network of Ascension, which focuses on growing revenue for local businesses. Amy also operates a non-profit organization, MyBelongings, which supports foster children during their transitions from home to foster care and beyond. This requires coordinating donations, volunteers, and distribution of items critical to the comfort of children and teens in the foster care system.

When she isn’t running her office or working in her community, Amy is spending time with her loving husband Don, and their kids, primarily spoiling their 3 grandkids, whom they adore. Amy enjoys traveling, has a passion for music, and is a talented home chef who loves to cook for her family when she has the time.
