Hiring a full time Insurance Customer Service Agent in the Lafayette Area.
We are searching for a Customer service agent who can provide exceptional service to our clients and policy-holders. You’ll be responsible for creating insurance policies, advising potential clients on coverage, and converting quotes into new policies. You'll also help resolve billing issues, change policies, and make policy recommendations.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Reach out to clients regarding concerns or complaints, offer suitable solutions, and oversee the situation to ensure resolution.
- Verify client insurance coverage and supply policyholders with proof of insurance documents.
- Maintain a record of all customer inquiries and follow up to confirm that all questions about policies are addressed.
- Answer incoming calls related to policy and insurance coverage issues, along with customer complaints and general inquiries.
- Ensure precision in processing modifications to client policies based on the provided information.
Qualifications:
- Valid Property & Casualty license
- Experience in insurance customer service
- Familiarity with insurance policies is desirable
- Strong active listening and communication skills
- Required prior customer service experience
- Basic skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and customer databases
Pay is $18 an Hour + Commission
Monday – Friday; 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
