Lafayette Area
Hiring a full time Maintenance Mechanic in the Lafayette Area.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on production machinery and equipment to enhance performance.
- Quickly diagnose and repair a variety of machinery and equipment issues.
- Guarantee the safety and functionality of infrastructure and machinery by making necessary repairs and adjustments.
- Carry out inspections to pinpoint areas that need improvement or upgrades.
- Work in collaboration with other departments to ensure smooth production operations.
Requirements and Preference:
- Previous experience as a maintenance mechanic
- Mechanical knowledge is essential
- Experience with sewing machine mechanics is preferred
- Forklift operation experience is also preferred
- Ability to follow procedures effectively
- Strong organizational skills are a must
Pay is $16.75 an hour
Monday – Friday; 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
