Journeyman Electrician - Full time
$24 - $32 / hour DOE
Milton, LA
We are hiring full time Journeyman Electricians in Milton, Louisiana.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supervise and coordinate helper to task on job site
- Apply electrical and construction principles to solve design issues
- Meet deadlines and report progress to superiors
- Ensure employee safety and compliance with regulations
- Inspect work to make sure it is up to code and quality standards
- Maintain an organized jobsite
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and circuits
- Install electrical conduit, control panels, switches and grounding leads
- Monitor equipment for safety and functionality
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of industrial electrical experience
- Valid Journeyman Electrical License
- Valid DL with clean driving record
- Skilled with hand tools, power tools and interpreting technical drawings
- Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
- Effective time management
Schedule is roughly 50 hours per week
$24 - $32 / hour DOE
