Air Compressor / Diesel Mechanic - Full time
$28 - $35 / hour
Broussard, LA
We are hiring a full-time skilled Diesel Mechanic with air compressor repair and technician experience.
Candidates with industrial screw compressor experience are highly preferred.
This position involves both shop-based and occasional field repairs. While most work will be performed in an industrial shop setting, experience in this environment is preferred. Field repairs may require delivery of rental units using a flatbed truck.
Forklift operation skills are required.
The primary focus of the role is servicing and maintaining diesel engine air compressors, that are primarily equipped with 3-cylinder engines. Experience in diesel engine repair is essential, but experience in troubleshooting air compressors is an advantage.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing routine maintenance and servicing of diesel engine air compressors
- Troubleshooting breakdowns, including the engine side and air end components
- Conducting repairs in the field and in the shop
- Ensuring safe operation and transport of rental units
- Forklift operation and basic delivery tasks
The ideal candidate will have strong diesel engine repair skills. We are looking for a candidate who is willing to learn and grow.
Work schedule is Monday - Friday ; Full Time.
$28 - $35 / hour
