Job Full Description

Express Employment of Metairie is looking to hire a Maintenance Technician for a local company in Metairie, LA. This full-time position with pay based on experience.

Maintenance Technician Will Be Responsible For:

Repair/rebuild small tools/machinery from shop manuals
Identify and maintain inventories of spare/repair parts
Repair/maintain various industrial equipment and machinery
Perform preventative and routine maintenance on industrial equipment and systems
Maintain safe and clean working environment
All other duties assigned.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED is required
Vocational training or apprenticeship preferred
Excellent mechanical aptitude
Ability & desire to learn all skilled trades
Ability to use all hand power & shop tools
Work closely with and take instruction from Senior Technicians

Experience:

Electro/Mechanical such as automotive, HVAC, appliance, small engine repair ect.
