Responsibilities:
- Cut, shape, and assemble wood for various projects, including furniture, cabinetry, and structural components.
- Use power tools, hand tools, and woodworking machines to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine project specifications.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and adheres to safety protocols.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of woodworking machinery and tools.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience working as a carpenter, preferably with woodworking.
- Proficient in using woodworking tools such as saws, drills, routers, and sanders.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures related to woodworking.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
