We are looking for a Crane Operator / Truck Loader for our client, a metal fabrication company.
Job Summary
The Crane Operator/Loader is responsible for handling materials related to the shipping and receiving of inventory and customer orders. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager.
Summary of Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
- Operate overhead cranes and forklifts in a safe manner.
- Knowledge of products handled, including color coding and customer specification; ability to read all measuring devices.
- Unloading and receiving of inbound stock shipments and loading of outbound shipments, including all paperwork necessary to perform these duties
- Properly loads trucks safely
- All other duties as assigned.
Schedule:
- Swing shift
- Typically 10-8,12-10
Minimum Requirements
- 2+ years of experience operating overhead cranes in an industrial and/or distribution environment
- Certification to operate overhead crane required
