Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Accessories Installer to join our team in Shreveport, LA. This role involves installing aftermarket accessories, diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical systems, and ensuring high-quality workmanship on a variety of vehicles. The ideal candidate has mechanical experience with electrical diagnostics, owns their own tools, and has the ability to install components efficiently. Welding experience is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install vehicle accessories, including lighting, audio systems, toolboxes, bumpers, winches, lift kits, and other aftermarket products.
- Perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting for accessory installations.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams and installation instructions.
- Ensure proper connections, secure mounting, and high-quality workmanship.
- Perform basic mechanical work related to accessory installations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Must have experience in mechanical work and electrical diagnostics.
- Must have own tools to perform job duties.
- Welding experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to read and understand wiring schematics and installation instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various shop conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
