Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to join our Trim Department, responsible for operating our panel folding machines. These machines are computer-controlled, and the operator must ensure high-quality production of bent parts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate computer-controlled panel folding machines in the trim department.
- Read and interpret blueprints to accurately bend and form parts.
- Perform quality checks on all bent parts to ensure they meet specifications.
- Accurately use measuring tools such as tape measures and protractors to verify dimensions and angles.
- Maintain machines, ensuring they are operating efficiently and safely.
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean working environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience with brake press or similar machinery, particularly in a computer-controlled environment.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Proficient in using a tape measure and protractor for precise measurements.
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality control.
