Our client is seeking a Stationary Engineer!
The Stationary Engineer is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems, including boilers, turbines, pumps, compressors, and refrigeration equipment. This role ensures the efficient and safe operation of systems that provide essential utilities within a facility.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in stationary engineering or a related field preferred.
- Relevant certification or licensing as required by state or local regulations (e.g., Boiler Operator License).
- Experience in operating and maintaining mechanical systems, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to boiler and equipment operation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Work Environment and Scheduling
This position may involve working in noisy or hazardous environments, requiring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Occasional overtime or emergency response may be required, including off-shift and weekend work.
During peak season will require 6 days per week
