Our client is seeking a Revenue Specialist!

 

Job Description:

 

Performs all essential tasks necessary to review account billing, process payments, and collect cash. Work requires expertise or background in customer service, reconciliation of accounts and cash receipts. Works with minimal instruction or supervision. 

 

Skills and Experience:

• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and procedures; ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, and percentages; ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
• Knowledge of tax and other governmental revenue collection practices and procedures is preferred
• Microsoft Office, Computer Skills

Education and Certifications:

• AA/AS Degree in business administration or related field and four (4) years of responsible experience in bookkeeping, billing, or accounting work; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Class C Maryland Motor Vehicle Operator’s License (or the equivalent from another issuing state) or the ability to obtain such a license within thirty (30) days of employment to position.
