Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Branch Manager to lead and oversee the operations of our client's financial advisory branch. The ideal candidate will provide strategic direction, manage day-to-day activities, and ensure the delivery of exceptional financial advisory services. This role requires a results-oriented leader with a strong background in financial services, team management, and business development.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Team Management
- Oversee the daily operations of the branch, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of financial advisors and support staff.
- Set performance goals for the branch and individual team members, monitoring progress and providing ongoing feedback.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that aligns with the firm's mission and values.
2. Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients by ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.
- Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly to enhance client trust and loyalty.
- Monitor the delivery of customized financial plans and investment solutions to meet client objectives.
3. Business Development
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the branch’s client base and expand market share.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to cross-sell financial products and services.
- Network with local businesses and organizations to strengthen the firm’s presence in the community.
4. Financial Oversight
- Manage the branch’s financial performance, including budgets, revenue targets, and expense controls.
- Analyze financial reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure the branch meets or exceeds established profitability goals.
5. Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including SEC and FINRA guidelines.
- Monitor risk exposure and implement measures to mitigate potential risks.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain operational integrity.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in financial services, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Licenses/Certifications: Series 7, Series 66 (or Series 63 and Series 65), and applicable state insurance licenses.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven track record in sales and business development.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data.
