Job Overview

The Instrument Assembly Technician performs assembly, wiring, soldering, and testing of electronic and mechanical subassemblies. Responsibilities include quality inspections, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and integrate sub-assemblies into instruments.
  • Maintain device history records and conduct basic component testing.
  • Identify defects and suggest improvements.
  • Read and interpret drawings and work instructions.
  • Train associates in assembly and testing processes.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair tasks.
  • Follow safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma/GED 
  • MUST HAVE experience with electronics assembly

Skills:

  • Leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • Strong mechanical tool and blueprint reading proficiency.
  • Effective time management and teamwork skills.
  • Basic computer skills in a Windows environment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve independently.
  • Capable of standing for extended periods in a repetitive work environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire, Contract

Pay: $20.03 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
