Job Full Description
We are actively seeking a Part-Time Administrative Assistant for our client, an environmental firm in Hudson, MA. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for front office coordination, including answering phones, directing calls, and greeting clients.
Primary responsibilities:
- Perform front desk and general administrative duties, including answering phones, managing mail, and maintaining supplies.
- Support staff and management with various operational tasks, including coordinating travel, preparing correspondence, and managing documents.
- Utilize Excel, Word, and Adobe for document preparation, data compilation, and calendar management.
- Organize meetings, interface with clients and procurement for project activities, and handle invoices and reports efficiently.
- Maintain office environment, including kitchen upkeep and supply management.
- Undertake additional responsibilities and tasks as required.
Requirements:
- At least one year of experience in an administrative role, ideally in government contracting.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
- Proven record of reliable customer service.
- Good grasp of grammar and writing mechanics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, email, and internet tools.
- High School diploma required, though relevant experience and education may substitute.
This is a part-time opportunity for 20 hours/week. There is opportunity for Hybrid Remote with at least 2 days physically in the office (Tuesdays & Thursdays) and preferably one other day in the office, with the rest working from home. The pay is $25/hr.
