Job Full Description
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant for an Operations Coordinator role for a banking and financial services company in Fitchburg. As a member of the Operations Department, this role is responsible for exceptional operational support and customer service, ensuring compliance with bank policies while specializing in deposit, cash management, payments, and e-banking operations.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service with positivity, courtesy, and enthusiasm to colleagues, clients, and the community
- Conduct research on requests and subpoenas
- Prepare month-end reports and general ledger reconciliations promptly
- Ensure accurate processing, documentation, and reporting of Federal and State tax withholdings.
- Oversee billing and tracking of branch Safe Deposit Box services.
- Process unpaid and non-negotiable inclearing and IEH/ACH items.
- Settle IEH/ACH general ledger entries, monitor, and correct pre-post rejected inclearing and ACH items.
- Handle annual abandoned property notifications, reporting, and submissions.
- Review Remote Deposit Capture for Business Services.
- Perform all duties in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Requirements:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of customer service or administrative experience required
- At least 5 years prior banking experience preferred
- Ability to use various business software and applications
This a temporary position for 2-3 Months with potential for permanent depending on business needs. The schedule is Mon-Fri 8:30AM-5:00PM. The pay rate is $25/hr DOE.
