Job Full Description
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Driver for a logistics company in Devens, MA. This position will be responsible for safely transporting items from the warehouse to various locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and drive 26' box trucks to transport furniture items to designated locations.
- Loading and unloading trucks efficiently, ensuring the safety and integrity of the products.
- Operating a pallet jack for the movement of goods within the warehouse.
- Skidding and wrapping products securely for transportation or storage.
- Receiving products, verifying quantities and quality, and storing them in designated areas.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe and responsible driving practices.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to assist in general warehouse duties when not engaged in driving responsibilities
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
- Proven experience as a warehouse driver or a similar role.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Familiarity with GPS devices and route optimization tools.
