Job Full Description
We are seeking a Receiver for a manufacturing company in Ayer. This position is responsible for unloading shipments, verifying and entering received products into the WMS system, performing virtual inventory transfers, and ensuring accurate inventory management while operating forklifts and maintaining warehouse organization.
Responsibilities:
- Unload shipments from trucks using appropriate equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack).
- Verify received products against packing slips and purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
- Enter data into the WMS system, logging inventory and confirming receipt of goods.
- Perform virtual transfers of inventory within the system to ensure proper stock allocation.
- Inspect shipments for damage, discrepancies, or missing items and report issues as needed.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Work closely with warehouse and purchasing teams to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in warehouse receiving, inventory control, or logistics required
- Proficiency in data entry and experience with WMS or similar inventory management software.
- Forklift certification or prior experience operating a forklift required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

This is a full time position with great growth opportunities. The hours are Mon-Fri 7AM-3:30PM. The pay range is $23-$26/hr DOE.
