We are actively recruiting for a part-time HR Coordinator/Office Manager for our client an established and growing manufacturing company in Acton. In this role the candidate will be responsible responsible for overseeing payroll, recruitment efforts, new hire orientation and onboarding, company policy and procedure adherence and the general administrative function and activities of the office and its facilities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Process (weekly/twice monthly) payroll using Gusto.
  • Oversee new hire orientation, onboarding, and employee termination process.
  • Maintain electronic employee records.
  • Administer health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations.
  • Support disciplinary and grievance issues.
  • Coordinate employee activities; company events, monthly celebrations, and offsite meetings.
  • Manage office facilities and daily business operation.
  • Maintain a neat, organized, and welcoming office.
  • General administrative duties, such as: review and distribution of incoming mail, break room restocking and management, office supply inventory management.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area.

This is a part-time, position working Monday-Friday (flexible hours) in the mornings for a total of 15-20 hours a week. The pay rate is $25-$30/hr DOE.
