Job Full Description
Title: MIG/TIG Welder
Location: Billerica, MA
Salary: $23-$28/hour
Hours: 8am to 4:30pm Monday – Friday
This is a full-time, permanent position
Responsibilities of the MIG TIG Welder:
- Fabricate stainless steel using TIG & MIG welding equipment, grinding, band saws, and plasma torch
- Assemble vacuum furnaces
- Operate and test vacuum furnaces
- Field service of vacuum furnaces and components
Qualifications of the MIG TIG Welder:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- 4-5 years of experience welding with MIG & TIG stainless and mild steel
- Some assembly and/or operation of vacuum equipment
- Some experience with installations, testing and troubleshooting
- Understanding of mechanical drawings and welding symbols
- Ability to work off of piping and instrument diagrams and assembly drawings
- Experience with hand tools, cranes, lifts and fork trucks
- MS Office
- US Citizen
