Job Full Description
Job title: Fabricator
Hours: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
Location: Billerica, MA
Salary: $22.00 - $26.00
Full-time, temp to perm. This is a permanent position
Responsibilities of the Fabricator:
- Read drawings and fabricate parts
- Use saws & tools (i.e. table saw, routers, jig saw, drills, band saw, etc.)
- Experience in Woodworking/Carpentry, Sheet Metal, Metal welding, Construction, CNC Machining. Plastic fabrication experience a plus – not required
Qualifications of the Fabricator:
- Shop Fabrication experience a plus
- Basic math; decimals, fractions, geometry
- Must be able to safely demonstrate proper use of power tool
- Some plumbing, electrical, controls, and exhaust ventilation experience is helpful
Additional requirements:
- Position requires standing, kneeling, manual dexterity, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Completing work with allotted time and material budgets
- Producing excellent quality finished products
- Maintain a clean and organized workbench area and shop
